This concept reminds me of a cave where a ritual is happening and your heading towards danger going deeper and deeper into the cave, the one point perspective works really well too. Maybe try a different angle/ perspective, might show the whole drawing in a different way? :).
I think your later thumbnail is more 'on message' - because this one seems a bit too organic in terms of the lines and surfaces - as Ruby says, like a cave.
